This year I've been getting all christmassy early. Been working on some xmas cards to sell at various markets and shops. My first design arrived last week - Pigs in Blankets. I did the illustrations last xmas but never ended up making them into proper cards. I am also waiting on the Icelandic Husky design and Icelandic Puffins. Greetings cards are fun. Some of these designs will be in Day Job's take over of Lik Neon just off Brick lane in the run up till Christmas. More on this to come!

Day Job studio also took part in the V&A friday late's Peckham Take over. We took over the sculpture room to bring some of the beauty of Peckham into the exhibition. I created a printed fabric formed of scenes and objects seen in Peckham. To display it I created a Nigerian style Gele Headwrap, helped by a lady who works in the shopping centre in Peckham! We also ran a 'pawnbroker' workshop where visitors were required to swap a drawing of 'value' for our limited edition Day Job printed money.
Been a long time since I updated... Over the summer Day Job took over Peckham Space gallery to run a summer art club. It was based on the theme of a fast food cafe. Activities included fast food hat making, food costume wearing and a design your own meal food tray. I created a giant pizza slice and chicken drumstick costume. We also had our play-o-logy digestive system set up to digest all the giant food!

Day Job studio were asked to create portraits of one another for oh comely magazine. We decided that our theme would be 'statues' to immortalise ourselves in marble (or other statue building materials). It was a fun little brief to think about each of our personalities/looks. Here is my 'cherub' statue of Aaron :)
