But for now its more developed roughs - the difference between these and the last ones is minimal but they are all totally new ones! Just having to refine things over and over now which is really good for improving my skills at developing roughs - challenging though. I am working on a new spread for the beginning to introduce the character more and have been researching racing dog names. So far the one I like best is flash patch as my dog has a patch...
I got some really good feedback about the text from a family friend who is a graphic designer. He suggested trying to do some hand drawn text to reflect the images a lot more. Because the text is all in one liners I would be able to emphasise different words with size and bold. I'm not sure what the hand drawn text will look like but am going to give it a go. In the mean time I have been playing about with different sizes and effects on the computer... I'm not very experienced with typography yet though so this is all just learning really (don't judge if your a typography whizz)
